IA-commands
Beside the open system the other big advantage of the LF+ are the huge amount of IA-commands.
Tradional controllers can only send 1 or 2 CC's for ON and OFF. The LF+ can send 20 ON and 20 OFF commands. Beside 7 sorts of Midi commands you can choose out of 57 different commands.
command | description | |
---|---|---|
Empty | No command. | |
MIDI Command | Standard MIDI Command (CC#, PC#, NOTE ON/OFF, etc..). | |
Activate MTC | Forces the LF to act as a Master Time Clock if current song is programmed for it. The MTC will also locate the song pointer upon starting MTC mode. | |
Auto- Tap-Tempo | Trigger an IA-Slot(1-60) 4 times at a specific delay (250-1000 ms). (Editor has a BPM->MS conversion utility on the Song screen.) | |
Delay (ms) | Delay processing by [x] milliseconds before continuing. | |
EXPR Mod CC# | Override the CC# of an Expression Pedal (1-4), (CC#). | |
EXPR Mod MIDI # | Override Expression Pedal (1-4) with a new Midi Channel # (1-16). | |
EXPR Resend Current | Send the current Expression Pedal value of pedal (1-4). | |
EXPR Send Value | Select Expression Pedal (1-4), and force the sending of a defined value. | |
EXPR Change IA trigger | Tells an Expression Pedal (1-4) programmed as IA trigger to change IA (1-60). | |
EXPR Min Send Value | Set a temporary minimum midi value for an expression pedal (1-4). | |
EXPR Max Send Value | Set a temporary maximum midi value for an expression pedal (1-4). | |
EXPR Slot 2 CC | Allows Expression Port (1-4) to send a second command with a specific CC (0-127). If this command is used and command EXP Slot 2 MIDI is not, then a second midi command will be triggered with this CC# using the midi channel found in the global settings (or last override command issued). | |
EXPR Slot 2 MIDI | Allows Expression Port (1-4) to send a second command with midi channel (1-16). If this command is used and command EXP Slot 2 CC# is not, then a second midi command will be triggered with this MIDI channel number using the CC# found in the global settings (or last override command issued). | |
EXPR Slot 2 Invert | Tells Expression Pedal (1-4) Slot2 to use the inverse value of the main Expression pedal programming. This allows one Expression pedal to cross-fade two different effects at the same time. Slot2 will go down while the main effect goes up, and vice versa. | |
EXPR Slot 2 CLEAR | This will allow a preset, IA-Slot or Song to reset the current Slot2 Expression Pedal Programming commands. The expression pedal will only process the global settings, and Slot2 will be cleared and transmit nothing. | |
External Dev Sync | Sync with the Axe-Fx II to get the ON/OFF state. | |
Force IA Color Change | Forces an IA-Slot (1-60) to change to a specific color. | |
Page Toggle Function #1/#2 | Swap all Function #1 and Function #2 commands on the current page. This is a toggle command, so issuing the command again will reverse the process. | |
Go Global | Jump to the defined Global Page. | |
G-Tuner | Puts the controller into TUNER DISPLAY mode. | |
IA-Map Change | Change the Active IA-Map to the selected IA-Map. | |
IA OFF Trig | Change and trigger the selected IA Slot to the OFF state and process it. | |
IA ON Trig | Change and trigger the selected IA Slot to the ON state and process it. | |
IA Toggle | Toggle the state of the selected IA Slot and process it. | |
IA Resend | Resends a specific IA-Slot (1-60). | |
IF IA is ON, Stop | If the IA slot to look at is ON, stop processing all further commands and end processing the current IA-slot. | |
IF IA is OFF, Stop | If the IA slot to look at is OFF, stop processing all further commands and end processing the current IA-slot. | |
IF IA is ON, Skip | If the IA slot to look at is ON, skip all commands below it, until it reaches the end, or it sees another IF_IA... command. at which point it will process the IF_IA command and move along. | |
IF IA is OFF, Skip | If the IA slot to look at is OFF, skip all commands below it, until it reaches the end, or it sees another IF_IA... command. at which point it will process the IF_IA command and move along. | |
IF Processing Trigger, Skip | Jump over commands to the next IF... command in the case the IA-Slot is being processed by a trigger. | |
Looper Turn On | AXE-FX LOOPER SYNC. Set an IA-Slot to Sync with AXE-FX. Select the Looper function (end of the effects list). The states/buttons will automatically update with AXE-FX in realtime as long as you turn on the Looper function.
How to use: For each looper related IA-Slot, set the Device Sync to "AXE-FX", and set the effect to the associated looper function. When looper command is turned ON, these IA-Slots will automatically sync with the current state of the looper in the AXE-FX. | |
Looper Turn Off | See above. | |
Page Change | Change the Active Page to the selected Page. | |
Page LOCK to current | When Page Lock command is processed, NO page change commands (preset, IA-Slot or Song) programming commands will active a page change. It will ignore the page change request. The LF+ will not process these commands until either system reset, exit from menu system, or a PAGE UNLOCK command is triggered. | |
Page UNLOCK to current | See above. | |
Page Button Display Start | Setting this command will switch the button on a page that displays as the first button on the physical device. For instance, setting the value to 13 will allow a LF+ 12+ to show page buttons 13-24 as programmed on physical buttons 1-12. You can switch which starting button on a page begins with button #1 on the physical device. This allows you to move around a programmed page without actually changing a page. Using an IA-Slot as a STEP command, you could step through 4 "pages" of 12 button layouts using a single page in the LF+! This will preserve 2nd function states, current banking, etc... | |
Page last used | Change the Active Page to the LAST PAGE prior to the currently active page. | |
Page Change to Preset Default | Will change the page to the page selected in the preset default. | |
Preset last used | Jump to the last Preset used prior to currently selected preset. | |
Preset Trigger | Trigger another preset after completing the current processing. | |
Preset Store | Store the current Preset # into a memory location (1-4). | |
Preset Recall Stored | Recall and process the preset # which is stored in memory located (1-4). | |
Preset Resend IA-Initial States | Resend all Initial IA Slots as defined in the current Preset. | |
Preset Trig 1st Bank | Trigger the first Preset in the currently selected bank. | |
Preset Momentary, then Jump | The parameter tells the command which preset to jump to after the momentary hold of the preset. This command should only be used within a preset. When you trigger the preset, hold the switch down; upon release, the LF+ will jump to the programmed preset #. | |
Set Color | Change the Physical Button (if mapped) to a specified color. | |
Set Status #1 LED CLR | Sets the Status #1 on 12/12+/Pro+ to a specific color. | |
Song # Store Current | Stores the current Song being used into a temporary memory. | |
Song # Recall Stored | Change Song to the stored song from command Store Current Song #. | |
Song Change | Forces the LF to change to song (1-254). If in set-list mode this will switch to the Song only if its found in the set-list. | |
Step | Tells the controller that we are beginning a step (or another step) and will process all the following commands until (1) another step is reached, (2) end of programming. | |
Stop | Stop all commands after this. (Usefull in combination with IF IA is ...). | |
Sysex Send | Sends a SYSEX message and process all linked SYSEX messages as well. | |
System SnapShot Store | Store the current state (Preset, Song, etc.) like a camera. Restore later. | |
System Snapshot Restore | Restore a previous Snapshot (command System SnapShot Store). | |
