Voes Midi Firmware

This is the default Firmware when shipped and is suitable to work with all MIDI-devices.

Each button has 2 functions: normal press and press-and-hold.

Each function has up to 4 commands.

Available commands (20):

Preset (PC): sends a program change.

CC on/off: sends a control change with Value 127 (ON) or 0 (OFF).

CC off/on: opposite of CC on/off command.

CC on only: sends only a control change with Value 127. Ideal for tempo.

CC off only: opposite of CC on only command.

CC custom: used when values other then 0 or 127 are needed.

Expr 1 CC Swap: change your Expr1 Pedal, e.g. from Wah to Volume. On replaces the CC and Ch of the regular Expr1 settings. Off returns to the regular settings.

Auto On CC Swap: For example, you have 3 FX (wah, rotary, phaser). You want to control freq, speed and depth of each with one pedal, and you don't gonna use them together. By setting freq, speed and depth to the same controller (Expr 1 Pedal), wah, rotary and phaser would all change. Using the Auto On CC Swap command would only turn ON the FX you want.

Button on/off: turns another button on or off.

All Other Leds Off: turns all other leds off.

Bank down/up: selects the first preset number and decreases/increases it with the count of all the presets on both pages.

Preset down/up: a function that is not often included in other Midi Controllers. You can decrease/increase the current preset number.

Preset select: when clicking on a Preset Select button, all leds will blink green/blue and all buttons are connected to their respective Preset number.

Bank select: when clicking on a Bank Select button, all leds will blink red and all buttons are connected to their respective Bank number.

Page: toggle between page 1 and 2 and change all buttons at once.

Special Fractal Audio Systems™ commands:

Scenes: selects scene 1-8.

Fractal™ tuner: turn on the tuner and show tuning info on the LCD.

Special features:

2 Pages are available, giving control over 2 different layouts, each with 5/10 buttons.

Press-and-hold: change one button to its respective button on the other page by press-and-hold.

Global: the on/off status of the button remains on a program change.

Steps: only the first command is executed. When pressed again, the second command will be executed and so on.

Groups: if a button, which is part of a button group, is pressed all other buttons in that group are turned off and then the selected button is activated. It's a very nice feature if you have FXs that are similar but never used together (like different drives) and avoids tap-dancing.

Auto on/off Expr1 Pedal: you don't need to sacrifice a button for turning the wah on/off.
