Les Paul Copy

Copy of a Gibson Les Paul.

This one is what made Ibanez famous. For those who don't know the story: Ibanez was one of the many companies that made Les Paul-copies. Only their copies where so good that they really could tip on a real Gibson. Therefore Gibson had to take this case to court.

That's why they call it the lawsuit period. After that Ibanez had to developed there own models, as we all know they did it very succesfull. One of their first models was the artist.

This one has a modified neck pickup switch (off/serial/parallel)
